Mercury rout Tempo 101-69, ends skid
The Phoenix Mercury defeated the Toronto Tempo 101-69, with Noemie Brochart and Shay Ciezki each scoring 15 to lead six Mercury players in double digits. It marked the Mercury's second-largest win margin this season and snapped a four-game losing streak, following their 99-66 season-opening win over Las Vegas. Sami Whitcomb added 14 points, with reserves Marta Suarez and Maddy Westbeld contributing 13 and 12, and Lexi Held 11 as Phoenix built a 21-8 lead and never trailed. Alyssa Thomas distributed 12 assists, her 11th game with 10 or more assists this season. Isabelle Harrison posted 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Tempo, which was without leading scorer Marina Mabrey due to an adductor injury.
