Naz Hillmon was fined $500 for a second technical foul of the season as the Atlanta Dream lost to the Sparks in Los Angeles, despite Angel Reese posting a season-best 26 rebounds. The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Toronto Tempo 88-78, with A’ja Wilson nearly posting a triple-double (27 points, seven rebounds, seven assists) and Jackie Young adding 21 points. Alyssa Thomas of the Phoenix Mercury delivered a historic triple-double (11 points, 16 rebounds, 10 assists), becoming the first player to reach 5,000 points, 3,000 rebounds and 2,000 assists, while also picking up her sixth technical foul and a $1,000 fine. In the same game, Phoenix fell 99-89 to Atlanta as Kahleah Copper tallied 38 points for the Mercury, and Angel Reese exploded for a career-high 31 points for Atlanta. The loss eliminated Phoenix from playoff contention, leaving them 13-24 on the season and marking their first postseason miss since 2023, with the team eight games out of the No. 8 seed with seven games remaining.
