Red Bulls sign Julian Hall to four-year extension
Julian Hall, 18, signed a four-year MLS contract extension with Red Bull New York through the 2029-30 season, becoming the youngest MLS U-22 Initiative signing at 18 years and 156 days. The deal secures Hall’s future at the club amid mounting European interest as Marseille, Newcastle United, Atletico Madrid, Red Bull Leipzig, and Hull City are linked with his potential move. In 2026 he has blossomed into a breakout star with nine goals and five assists in 21 games and earned his first MLS All-Star selection, following a career with 12 goals and six assists in 59 appearances. Hall previously became the second-youngest MLS debutant at 15 and has already drawn attention for his prolific early impact. Red Bulls head of sport Julian de Guzman praised Hall for earning the trust of teammates and staff and said the contract reflects the club’s high valuation of his role. Hall expressed happiness about staying with Red Bull New York and emphasized continued growth and helping the team achieve its goals.
