Apple TV price hike raises US streaming cost
Apple TV+ is raising its monthly price to $14.99 for new and existing subscribers, effective August 28, with current subscribers to be notified about the change about one month in advance. The annual price will rise to $119. In addition, the Apple One Individual plan has increased to $21.95 per month, while Apple One Family and Premier plans remain unchanged. This marks the fourth price hike for Apple TV since 2021, continuing a broader industry trend of streaming services lifting prices. Apple’s notice to existing subscribers and the timing of the change align with similar moves from other major streamers in recent years. The lifted prices come as Apple TV touts a growing catalog of originals and films, including popular titles that have helped drive growth alongside its broader ecosystem."
