Wellington Management Group LLP registered substantial moves across several large holdings, including a 97.3% increase in GE Aerospace to about 6.8 million shares worth $2.54 billion in the second quarter. It trimmed Automatic Data Processing by 0.7% to roughly 10.0 million shares valued at about $2.246 billion. The firm also expanded its Fifth Third Bancorp stake by 20.2% to about 23.65 million shares, with a value near $1.33 billion. In biotechnology, Wellington boosted Amgen holdings by an astonishing 1,102.7% to 2.74 million shares, worth about $993 million. The insurer American International Group saw a 6.9% increase to around 30.33 million shares, valued at roughly $2.26 billion. Taken together, these moves illustrate a broad, diverse portfolio strategy across aerospace, financial services, healthcare, and insurance equities as disclosed in the filings.
