TVS Motor names Peyman Kargar CEO, 2027

TVS Motor Company has announced that Peyman Kargar will become Director and Chief Executive Officer starting January 27, 2027, succeeding K. N. Radhakrishnan who will remain in his role until that date and then transition to a non-executive director until the July 2027 AGM. Kargar, currently President of International Business, brings more than three decades of global automotive leadership from roles at Infiniti Nissan and Renault, and will join as a whole-time director for a five-year term. The board approved the appointment in alignment with SEBI listing regulations, with Radhakrishnan staying on during the transition period. Under Kargar’s leadership, TVS’s International Business has grown to about 29% of sales and is expanding rapidly, with a focus on India and global markets through product innovation and premiumisation. The company highlighted his broad experience across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East as key to sustaining growth and broader market reach. This leadership change follows TVS’s strong recent performance, including record global sales and significant international contribution, as the firm positions itself for further expansion.
