Jim Elliot's Killers Become His Family's Brothers
From 1956 · a Good News classic
Jim Elliot, who wrote 'He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose,' was killed with four friends by Waorani warriors in 1956. What followed stunned the world: Elisabeth Elliot and Rachel Saint went to live with the tribe that killed their men, and years later Steve Saint — Nate Saint's son — was baptized by Mincaye, one of the warriors, who became a grandfather to his children.
