Chase Stokes Reveals New Health Routine

Chase Stokes, coming off the finale of Outer Banks, is shifting from the lean, teen-actor image he maintained on the show to a more athletic, heavier training style as he prepares for a role in Thunder Road. He disclosed that he used to fast until around 2 p.m. and drink large amounts of water to stay slim, but now wakes up earlier, fasts for a shorter window, and consumes a hearty breakfast before hitting a gym focused on heavy compound lifts. His new routine emphasizes building out his frame with exercises like cleans, squats, and deadlifts, moving away from the lighter weight, higher-rep approach he employed for John B. to resemble a wide receiver or tight end. Stokes notes that this shift also reflects a personal move to distance himself from the John B. image and embrace a more mature, adult look and identity. The change marks not just a physical transformation but an emotional reassessment as he steps into a NASCAR-adjacent role alongside Dennis Quaid and others. Overall, he says it’s “nice to be able to eat more” and to grow into a new chapter beyond Outer Banks.
