Odisha AI hub as HCLTech plans 6,000 jobs — Jul 24, 2026Odisha inks a Rs 14,257 crore plan with HCLTech and Sarvam AI to establish an AI Data Centre in the Sovereign AI Park and an AI and Digital Engineering Global Delivery Centre in Bhubaneswar, aiming to create 5,000–6,000 direct jobs and strengthen the state's AI ecosystem. The government and company say the initiative will position Odisha as a leading sovereign AI hub and advance India’s sovereign AI strategy while prioritizing local talent development and secure, scalable digital infrastructure.
