Ukhar Kupets is a 1909 silent short drama film shot by the Moscow division of the French company Pathé Frères. It was the first hand-colored Russian film. It was based on the folk song known under the same title based on the 1859 short poem Ехал из ярмарки ухарь-купец by Ivan Nikitin.
