NHL referee Rank wins fourth Canadian Mid-Amateur

NHL referee Garrett Rank of Waterloo captured his fourth Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Brantford Golf & Country Club, closing with a 69 and a final-hole 6-foot par putt to edge Evan Nachtigall by one stroke. Rank, who has officiated in the NHL including a Stanley Cup Final assignment, previously won the title in 2014–2016 and earned a spot into the U.S. Mid-Amateur, underscoring his dual success in hockey officiating and golf.
