Overview
The Solymoi, also known as the Solymians, were an ancient people or ethnic designation associated with the mountainous interior of southwestern Anatolia. Greek and Roman authors connected them variously with Lycia, Milyas, Pisidia, Cabalis and, most prominently, the city of Termessos on Mount Solymos, now known as Güllük Dağı.
