WorldCeuta Begins Burials for Migrants
Buries began for dozens of migrants who died in the Ceuta crossing, with about 70 bodies expected to be buried in coming days and roughly 95% remaining unidentified, each grave marked for possible future identification and repatriation. Identification remains challenging due to limited DNA sample access for Moroccan relatives and ongoing repatriation hurdles, as authorities tally that tens of thousands crossed and dozens died on both sides of the border.
