Reiner Indictment Expands in Brentwood Killings
Nick Reiner was indicted on two counts of murder with special circumstances for allegedly stabbing his parents, Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner, inside their Brentwood home, with new allegations of lying in wait and use of a knife. Prosecutors say the indictment, which replaces the 2025 charges, accelerates the path to trial and could carry the death penalty or life without parole if convicted, and Reiner has pleaded not guilty.
