Overview
The Pogačar–Vingegaard rivalry is a sporting rivalry between Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar and Danish cyclist Jonas Vingegaard. Their competition, particularly at the Tour de France, has become a defining narrative of road cycling in the 2020s, and is considered to be one of the greatest rivalries in the sport's history. The pair have collectively won seven Tour de France general classification titles—Pogačar in 2020, 2021, 2024, 2025 and 2026, Vingegaard in 2022 and 2023—finishing first and second on the podium in five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025.
