Nicholas d'Oisy, Lord of Avesnes, nicknamed le Beau, was a son of Walter I, Lord of Avesnes and his wife, Ada of Tournai. He was Lord of Avesnes, Leuze and Condé. He built castles in Landrechies and Condé.
