John Steenhuisen

John Henry Steenhuisen is a South African politician who is currently serving as the Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition since July 2026. He served as Minister of Agriculture from July 2024 to June 2026. He was the leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA) from November 2020 to April 2026, having served as the interim leader for one year from November 2019. He served as the leader of the Opposition from October 2019 to June 2024.
