Jo Ann Jenkins is the former CEO of AARP. She was appointed on September 1, 2014, having previously served as chief operating officer from 2013 to 2014. She retired from the role at the end of 2024. Between 1994 and 2010, she was a senior adviser, chief of staff, and chief operating officer of the Library of Congress.
