Heisman Hopefuls launches fan voting platform
The Heisman Trophy is launching a fan voting platform called Heisman Hopefuls, allowing fans to vote daily and have the top three vote selections rolled into the first official ballot to be announced during conference championship weekend, with results tallied alongside traditional voters. The initiative leverages data-driven analytics and partnerships with EA Sports, Carnegie Mellon’s Sports Analytics Center, Next League, and Yangaroo to provide updated player stats and ratings and to push the Heisman into a year-round platform.
