Vice-Admiral Fitzroy Henry Lee was a Royal Navy officer and colonial administrator who served as Commodore Governor of the Colony of Newfoundland. Lee supposedly inspired the character "Hawser Trunnion" in Tobias Smollett's novel, The Adventures of Peregrine Pickle.
