Firebird

Firebird (Bonita Juarez) is a superhero character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Bill Mantlo and artist Sal Buscema, the character first appeared in Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #265 (August 1981). The character has been a member of the Rangers and the Avengers West Coast at various points in her history. Firebird has been described as one Marvel's most notable and powerful female heroes, being labelled as a prominent Latina character.
