Ferran Martínez Castellano

Fernando Martínez Castellano was a Spanish politician who was a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). He was the first democratically elected mayor of Valencia after the Francoist dictatorship, serving from April to October 1979. He was removed from office by his party after taking a position critical of its leadership. He did not run in any election again until 2007.
