SportsOklahoma State coach Eric Morris kills armadillo
New Oklahoma State football coach Eric Morris, already juggling a heavy workload, said his sleepless nights and an armadillo invasion led him to shoot and kill the animal at about 2:30 a.m., insisting it was legal in the country and apologizing to neighbors. As OSU moves toward the 2026 season, Morris noted improving performances from Terrence Lewis and indicated Carson Kolb could be the starting tight end, while integrating several transfers from North Texas to reboot the program.
