Big Bear Eagle Habitat Secured by OpenAI Founders

Conservation groups secured more than $10 million to purchase Moon Camp land on Big Bear Lake, preventing a 50-home development and protecting the habitat of the area’s famed bald eagles, Jackie and Shadow. A late donation of $5.5 million from OpenAI co-founders Anna and Greg Brockman helped complete the funding, enabling the land trust to finalize the purchase and dedicate resources for ongoing land care.
