Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery is a 1997 American spy comedy film directed by Jay Roach and written by Mike Myers. It is the first installment in the Austin Powers film series and stars Myers as both the British spy Austin Powers and his nemesis Dr. Evil, alongside Elizabeth Hurley, Michael York, Robert Wagner, Seth Green and Mindy Sterling. The film is a parody of James Bond films and 1960s popular culture.
