The First Omen

The First Omen is an upcoming American supernatural horror film directed by Arkasha Stevenson, and written by Stevenson, Tim Smith and Keith Thomas, from a story by Ben Jacoby. It serves as a prequel to The Omen (1976). Cast Nell Tiger Free Bill Nighy Ralph Ineson as Father Brennan Production In April 2016, a prequel to The Omen was announced to be in the works, with Ben Jacoby writing the script and Antonio Campos in talks to direct. By May 2022, 20th Century Studios began developing it, with Arkasha Stevenson making her feature directorial debut. David S. Goyer, Keith Levine and Gracie Wheelan are set to produce under the Phantom Four label, with Tim Smith also serving as an executive producer. Nell Tiger Free was cast for an undisclosed role in late August 2022. In a January 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Free said that filming was completed, and expected a 2023 release window.
