Return to Silent Hill

Return to Silent Hill is an upcoming psychological horror film directed by Christophe Gans, co-written with Sandra Vo-Anh and Will Schneider. It stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson and is based on the video game Silent Hill 2 by Konami. The film serves as the third installment in the Silent Hill film series, as well as a reboot. The film was officially green-lit in October 2022 and filming began in Germany and Eastern Europe in April 2023. Premise James has been devastated after being separated from his soulmate and receives a mysterious letter that leads him back to a town called Silent Hill, where he hopes to find her. However, he discovers that the town has been changed by some unknown malevolent force and as he delves deeper into the town, he finds terrifying figures, both familiar and unfamiliar.
