IBM-Together AI to Build Inference Cluster
IBM and NVIDIA are expanding AI infrastructure on IBM Cloud with HGX B300 systems powered by Blackwell Ultra GPUs, integrated with Red Hat OpenShift and watsonx for governed hybrid-cloud workflows, and IBM targets serverless GPU access in 2026. In a parallel push, IBM and Together AI announced a $240 million multi-year agreement to deploy a large-scale inference cluster on IBM Cloud using HGX B300 and Spectrum-X networking, aiming for open-source model inference with substantially higher throughput and availability in early 2027.

Its flagship product is the OpenShift Container Platform — a hybrid cloud platform as a service built around Linux containers orchestrated and managed by Kubernetes on a foundation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
