Harrison Young

Harrison Richard Young (March 13, 1930 – July 3, 2005) was an American character actor. He is known for playing the elderly Ryan in Saving Private Ryan. Career Young gained recognition for his role as the elderly Private James Ryan in Steven Spielberg's war epic Saving Private Ryan (1998). Having starred in over 100 films and television episodes, Young's other credits include Passions, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses.
