The film is produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen under their Square Peg banner, alongside Cage, Jacob Jaffke and Tyler Campellone. It premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023, and is scheduled to be released by A24 on November 10, 2023. Premise Paul Matthews (Nicolas Cage), an unremarkable professor, becomes an overnight celebrity after appearing in strangers' dreams.
