Ben Jones Dies; Former Congressman, Dukes Star
Ben Jones, the actor who played Cooter Davenport on The Dukes of Hazzard, died at 84 of a massive heart attack at home while awaiting a Braves game, and he previously served two terms in the U.S. House representing Georgia. Tributes flowed from co-star Tom Wopat and his wife Alma Viator, who announced his passing and celebrated his life and career.
