Beautiful Disaster is a 2023 American romantic drama film directed by Roger Kumble, and co-written by Kumble and Jamie McGuire, based on McGuire's 2011 new adult novel of the same name. Entertainment optioned the film rights for Beautiful Disaster, but the project never went into development and the Warner Bros. option ended May 13, 2014. In 2020, it was optioned by Voltage Pictures, production began in 2021 with Roger Kumble directing, and Dylan Sprouse, Rob Estes and Virginia Gardner in the cast. The project received considerable public criticism due to McGuire's controversial statements and far-right political viewpoints.
