Soul Provider

Soul Provider is the sixth studio album by American singer Michael Bolton, released on June 19, 1989 through Columbia Records/CBS. With global sales of 12,500,000 copies, Soul Provider is Bolton's second highest-selling album after Time, Love & Tenderness (1991). Containing five US Top 40 hit singles (including three that reached the Top 10), Soul Provider achieved longevity on the charts. It spent almost four years on the US Billboard 200, and peaked at number three. The album was certified six-times Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). For the single version of Bolton's cover of "Georgia on My Mind", CBS edited out Michael Brecker's original saxophone solo and replaced it with a new one played by Kenny G. Critical reception
