William Lloyd Standish

William Lloyd Standish IV (February 16, 1930 – January 1, 2015) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Education and career Standish was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1930. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 1953. He received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1956. He was in private practice in Pittsburgh from 1956 to 1980. He was a judge of the Court of Common Pleas in the Fifth Judicial District of Pennsylvania from 1980 to 1987. Federal judicial service
