Samuel Morse Felton, Jr.

Samuel Morse Felton Jr. (February 3, 1853 – March 11, 1930) was an American railroad executive. Early life Samuel Morse Felton Jr. was born on February 3, 1853, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Felton was the son of Samuel Morse Felton Sr. (1809-1889), Civil War era influential president of the Philadelphia, Wilmington and Baltimore Railroad (1851-1865) and earlier of the Fitchburg Railroad, and the nephew of Cornelius Conway Felton and John B. Felton. He was an 1873 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. Career
