Robert Mitsuhiro Takasugi

Robert Mitsuhiro Takasugi (, September 12, 1930 – August 4, 2009) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Early life Takasugi was born in Tacoma, Washington. When he was 12 years old, he and his family were interned in the Tule Lake War Relocation Center, part of the World War II internment of 130,000 Japanese Americans resulting from the enforcement of Executive Order 9066. After the war, Takasugi attended Belmont High School in Los Angeles. Education In 1953, Takasugi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. In 1959, Takasugi earned a Juris Doctor degree from the USC Gould School of Law.
