Joseph Patrick Lieb

Joseph Patrick Lieb (September 4, 1901 – November 2, 1971) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Education and career Born on September 4, 1901, in Faribault, Minnesota, Lieb received a Bachelor of Laws in 1924 from Georgetown Law. He was a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1925 to 1931. He was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Florida from 1931 to 1934. He was in private practice in Tampa, Florida from 1934 to 1955. Federal judicial service
