Jacob Mishler

Jacob Mishler (April 20, 1911 – January 26, 2004) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York from 1960 to 2004 and its Chief Judge from 1969 to 1980. Education and career Born in New York City, New York, Mishler received a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University in 1931. He received a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1933. He was in private practice of law in Long Island City, New York from 1934 to 1959.
