J. Lawrence Irving

James Lawrence Irving (born February 16, 1935) is a former United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Education and career Born in San Diego, California, Irving was in the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in 1959 and a Bachelor of Laws from the USC Gould School of Law in 1963. He was in private practice in San Diego from 1963 to 1982. Federal judicial service
