Ryanair CEO warns planes leave without late passengers
Ryanair’s chief executive Michael O’Leary has warned that flights will leave without passengers who are late or not at the boarding gate, blaming the EU’s new border and Entry/Exit System for long passport-control queues. He says travelers must arrive early, and that hundreds have incurred out-of-pocket costs for replacements while neither the airline nor insurers cover these expenses as flights aren’t being delayed for those stuck in queues.
