George P. Schiavelli

George P. Schiavelli (June 15, 1948 – August 28, 2019) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Education and career Born in Miami Beach, Florida, Schiavelli received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from Stanford University in 1970 and a Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law in 1974. He was in private practice in Los Angeles, California from 1974 to 1994 and again from 2000 to 2004, having served as a judge on the State of California Los Angeles Superior Court from 1994 to 2000.
