Frank X. Altimari

Frank Xavier Altimari (September 4, 1928 – July 19, 1998) was a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and previously was a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Education and career Born in Queens, New York, Altimari attended St. Francis College in Brooklyn. He received a Bachelor of Laws from Brooklyn Law School in 1951. He served as an attorney in private practice in Jamaica, New York from 1951 to 1965. During this period, he also was a law professor at St. Francis College from 1954 to 1963, and served on the school board in Westbury, New York from 1963 to 1965. State judicial service
