David Folsom (born March 12, 1947) is a retired United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Education and career Born in Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Folsom received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas in 1969 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1974. He served as a school teacher at Arkansas Senior High School in Texarkana, Arkansas from 1969 to 1971.
