Douglas Steven Lavine (born December 9, 1950) is a Judge of the Connecticut Appellate Court. Education Lavine graduated from Colgate University in 1972 with a degree in history. He then earned a master's degree in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. After he received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1977, he earned a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School in 1981.
