Arthur Mumford Smith

Arthur Mumford Smith (September 19, 1903 – November 20, 1968) was an associate judge of the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals. Education and career Born on September 19, 1903, in Scott, Indiana, Smith received an Artium Baccalaureus degree in 1924 from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Laws in 1926 from the University of Michigan Law School. He entered private practice in Chicago, Illinois from 1926 to 1929, Detroit, Michigan from 1929 to 1946, and Dearborn, Michigan from 1946 to 1959.
