Andrew Scott Hanen (born December 10, 1953) is an American attorney and jurist serving as a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Early life and education
Hanen was born on December 10, 1953, in Elgin, Illinois and raised in Waco, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from Denison University in 1975, majoring in economics and political science. He received his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School in 1978.
