Henry Augustus Middleton Smith

Henry Augustus Middleton Smith (April 30, 1853 – November 23, 1924) was a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of South Carolina and the United States District Court for the Western District of South Carolina. Education and career Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Smith received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Charleston in 1872 and read law to enter the bar in 1874.
