WUT's four-crane deal with HD Hyundai Samho reported
Washington United Terminals in Tacoma awarded HD Hyundai Samho a turnkey contract to replace two aging ship-to-shore cranes and install two new yard cranes, with delivery by 2028, boosting capacity from 590,000 TEU to 880,000 TEU to handle larger vessels. The project, linked to Korea-U.S. MASGA port-crane cooperation, will showcase high-grade steel from POSCO and reflects HMM’s broader strategy to diversify and upgrade U.S. port infrastructure.
