Yusuf Hat Trick Propels Revolution to 3-0 Win Over DC United
Alhassan Yusuf scored a hat trick, his first MLS multi-goal game, as the New England Revolution defeated D.C. United 3-0 to snap a three-game winless skid. He became the eighth Revolution player in regular-season history to record a hat trick, and the first since Kei Kamara in 2017. Jack Harrison contributed a career-high three assists, setting up all three of Yusuf's goals, while Matt Turner posted three saves in the shutout. The win improves New England to 10-7-3 on the season and gives Yusuf a career-high five goals. The Revolution have now gone 3-0-1 against D.C. United in four straight meetings and lead the all-time regular-season series 39-37-16. DC United's Sean Johnson made five saves in defeat amid lineup challenges.
