Yorkville Advisors Global LP disclosed new stakes across several public equity positions in Q1, including Kyivstar Group (KYIV) with 54,483 shares worth about $551,000, about 0.3% of its portfolio and KYIV’s 21st largest holding. The KYIV stake comes as other hedge funds also adjusted positions in Kyivstar, with additional new or increased stakes reported by UBS, Oppenheimer, Goldman Sachs, and Gordian Capital in late 2023 to 2026. Separately, Yorkville disclosed a new stake in JBG SMITH Properties (JBGS) in Q1, acquiring 143,918 shares valued around $2.1 million, making JBGS about 1.3% of the portfolio and 11th largest holding. Yorkville also built a sizable position in Service Properties Trust (SVC), purchasing 20,833,333 shares worth about $28.3 million, ranking it as the fund’s second-largest holding. In addition, Yorkville acquired 1,050,000 shares of Texas Ventures Acquisition III Corp (TVA) in Q1, valued at roughly $10.9 million, about 6.6% of its holdings and 4th largest. Together, the moves illustrate Yorkville’s diversified strategic positioning across telecom infrastructure, real estate, and SPAC-related vehicles, alongside activity from other major funds in the same names.
